A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO PLAY

In an effort to offset the carbon released during the manufacturing and installation of a playground, Parkitects will design trees into the play area plan.

The number of trees in the plan will depend on the time frame a community specifies to offset the carbon emitted during the manufacturing of the play equipment. The trees will either be purchased by the site owner, or the playground committee will seek donations from the community.

Trees will then be planted during the volunteer community build event, or after the equipment installation. A sign, such as the one shown here, can be purchased and installed at the playground location.
